Our Journey & Founder Story
Founded by a group of passionate local guides and backpackers in Bhaktapur, Shailung Holidays started with a single mission: to provide comfortable, organized, and budget-friendly trips. Having spent years walking the trails of Nepal, we noticed that many domestic travelers found planning treks and pilgrimage trips stressful due to road uncertainties and accommodation hassles.
We structured weekend tours specifically departing from Radhe Radhe Chowk in Bhaktapur, arranging everything from 4WD Scorpio jeeps, standard homestay bookings, traditional meals, and expert local Sherpa guides. Today, we stand as a trusted travel partner, specializing in offroad jeep tours to high-altitude sites like Kalinchowk, Ama Yangri, Muktinath, and Halesi.

Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
Booking requires a 30% advance deposit to reserve transport seats and lodging. The remaining 70% can be paid in cash or via Esewa/Khalti on the day of departure.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 4 days prior to departure receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
3. Road/Weather Constraints
Tours are subject to road conditions and landslide roadblocks. In case of route closure, alternative schedules or destinations of similar value will be offered.
4. Health & Safety
Tours to high-altitude sites like Kalinchowk (3,842m) and Muktinath (3,710m) carry risk of altitude sickness. Travelers with respiratory issues must consult a doctor before booking.
